Each year South Shore Mental Health Center provides programs and services to more than 2,200 individuals and families who live and work in South County. The Center relies heavily on the generosity and support from the community to continue to offer these much needed services. By making a contribution to the Center, you will be helping your neighbor, friend or a coworker who may be experiencing a mental illness. BE A FRIEND, MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

The Hope Fund is a vital and important campaign for the Center. Many individuals and families will not seek treatment because they are focused on feeding their families, paying their rent or saving to buy a warm coat for the winter. The Hope Fund offers them the opportunity to seek the care they need without worrying about the cost of treatment. Your gift to The Annual Hope Fund allows us to continue to provide services to individuals and families who are uninsured, in crisis and in need of mental health services.

In 1968, Washington County needed Richard C. Antonelli. He rose to the challenge as a member of a small, but dedicated, group of people reaching out to individuals and families experiencing mental illness to get them the help they needed... to get them to the people they needed.

After 37 years of dedicating his help to the people of Washington County, Richard C. Antonelli retired. To honor a man who provided help and support to thousands of people in Washington County during his tenure as President & CEO, The Board of Directors of the Center set up the The Richard C. Antonelli Professional Lecture Series. The Series will help provide educational seminars for professionals to strengthen their knowledge on mental health issues. Your gift to this Series will allow the Center to continue to offer educational programs to individuals who have devoted their careers to helping people with mental illness.
