Experiencing the symptoms of a mental illness can be a frightening and disorienting experience. South Shore's services are delivered in the right place, at the right time, to the right person. All services are designed to address the specific presenting circumstances of each individual or family. No two individuals, no two families are exactly alike. South Shore strives to develop an individualized treatment plan in concert with the person or persons who have come to us for help. Some people who come to see us may need a variety of services. In such cases, all services provided are integrated and a single, comprehensive treatment plan guides the course of treatment throughout the individual's time in treatment.

Services can and do vary in intensity and length of stay. Discharge plans begin to be formulated as part of the initial assessment process and follow-up services are provided for as long as needed. No one needs to feel alone or without a place to turn in times of trouble. South Shore is there when you need us... and when you don't. Serving the South County community around the clock, all year long; we are always just a phone call away.

An estimated two-thirds of all young people with mental health problems are not receiving the help they need.
