Intensive outpatient
program Our PHP / IOP programs offer highly specialized services
to meet the individual needs of each client. We utilize
a comprehensive systems approach and provide center-based
day treatment programs that incorporate between 3 hours
and 7 hours of daily treatment depending upon the level
of care needed for each individual.
Our Partial Hospitalization
(PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs are short
term intensive programs designed to divert admissions to
psychiatric hospitals, reduce the length of inpatient stays
and offer a similar level of care within the community which
allows patients to remain in their homes during the treatment
process.
Services are available to children
under 18 years of age who possess serious behavioral or
emotional problems that interfere with his/her interpersonal,
educational or social abilities. Clients may require daily
monitoring, support, and ongoing intervention, but are not
currently in need of 24 hour
inpatient care.
Each program provides comprehensive
assessments, initial and aftercare treatment planning, individual,
and family and group psychotherapy and milieu activities.
Psychopharmacological evaluations and medication management
are provided by our child and adolescent psychiatrist. Other
services include tutoring as well as case management and
coordination with school and community providers.
The quality of a child’s environment
and social interaction in the early years affect brain
development, producing lifelong impacts on learning,
social skills and mental health.
