| Emergency Services is composed
of five components:
1. Clinical Triage: determines the urgent,
emergency or routine nature of each contact and facilitates
the appropriate routing of the call.
2. Emergency Services: provides urgent
and emergency face-to-face assessments of individuals
in psychiatric crisis.
3. Acute Services: provides brief, follow-up
care to stabilize symptoms and facilitate entry into the
routine system of care, as appropriate.
4. Liaison Services: provides linkages
and assistance with discharge planning for persons admitted
to psychiatric inpatient units in Rhode Island.
5. Intake Services: conducts comprehensive
psycho-social assessment by our independently licensed
masters level clinician. Our medical director and disposition
committee reviews each individual assessed and determines
the appropriate clinical assignment.
